In the field of the ceramic materials, CTMNC Limoges carries out research in 3 areas :
1/ Decarbonate the manufacturing process
> Substitution of natural gas for the firing of the roof tiles and bricks
> CO2 capture from the flue gases of the kiln
2/ Smart surface for heavy clay building materials
> Increase the albedo
> Depollute the atmosphere : CO2 capture, NOx degradation
3/ Improve the mechanical and water resistance properties of the unfired clay bricks
